There's no better way to truly experience the glory of the Blue Ridge Mountains than by lodging in this new luxury log cabin rental, located adjacent ( 20 feet ) to Glade Creek, 12 minutes from downtown Black Mountain ( 25 minutes from Asheville ). Hideaway at Highrock is the perfect example of the very best that the Blue Ridge Mountain vacation rentals has to offer. The log home is a very special and well thought out, 2 bedroom cabin that can sleep up to 6 guests, with 2 full bathrooms, one on each floor. You can sleep comfortably to the sounds of rushing water in the King size master bed, or the King size bed on the ground level or the queen sleeper in front of the wood burning fire place ( FREE FIRE WOOD IS PROVIDED ). Amenities include: Free Wi Fi, land line phone, 4 person soothing Hot Tub on the expansive deck overlooking the creek, 8' regulation pool table, ping pong table, foosball table, 4 HDTVs and two Blue Ray players, a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, a massive exterior hard-wood deck that includes cedar rocking chairs and a round picnic table, and a gas grill, horse shoes, hammocks, and outdoor picnic tables. There is also a 42" open wood burning fire place and an outdoor fire pit next to the creek, fire wood is provided. Late Spring family trip

My husband, two college aged sons, and I spent a week in this peaceful cabin. The location was perfect. The cabin is close enough to the town of Black Mountain to go out to a nice restaurant or shop but was secluded enough to have peaceful mountain cabin experience. I can’t wait to visit again.

This home is definitely one of my favorites! Secluded, comfortable and clean. The roads to get to the house are a bit nerve wracking, particularly where some major washout occurred, but they’re working hard to fix them. We played ping pong and pool, enjoyed the fire pit, and saw so much wildlife, including a black bear we named Josh. Definitely will be returning!

We had such a great stay at the Hideaway. The beauty of its location - with a creek running right alongside the porch was epic! Great cabin, great location (remote and yet you can be in town in 5 minutes). Definitely would stay again! Thanks to Mike for his gracious hospitality!

Relaxing time and vacation

This vacation rental is great and the owner is fantastic. I ran into to him on several occasions and had conversations on the area, things to do, and places to eat. If you want to get away and still be fairly close to a lot of cool things to do, this is the place!!! This was my second stay there and I will be back!

Awesome getaway

This cabin was great! My husband and I came for our anniversary and it was a great getaway. The creek and entire property is so relaxing and it was easy to drive into Asheville to visit the breweries. We are planning to come back with our son sometime in the future - the property seemed very kid friendly and like a great adventure for a little one!

Our family of four stayed at Hideway over Thanksgiving break. The cabin was beautiful and so was the surrounding property! My girls enjoyed the stream and the outside fire pit so much. The cabin was so comfortable and well stocked. We couldn’t wait to get back to the cabin to relax after a long day exploring Black Mountain and the surrounding areas. We cant wait to come back again!

A wonderful get away

This sweet place hidden in the woods and mountains, was just what we needed to reset from life’s everyday hustle and bustle. First time visiting this cabin, but it definitely won’t be the last. We never left to go in town once we arrived! The trails, hammocks, fire pit, and jacuzzi made this place extremely relaxing.
