The hotel is under refurbishment and luckily enough I did get a newly refurbished room so it was immaculate. I must say it was basic but perfectly adequate for a few nights stay. The Bar/Restaurant serves really good food at reasonable prices and the staff were excellent. Especially the young lady on reception who sorted a couple of things out for me.

We had a lovely meal and the bedroom was very clean. The staff were very polite and helpful.Sadly the bathroom was not up to standard with black mould on the tiles. We didnt feel inclined to use either the shower or the bath.rotton wood beneath the bath.bit noisy as we were above the bar.
