The accommodation/facilities are in need of improvement/upgrade/repair.
Microwave supplied (good) but no microwaveable cooking dishes; no suitable knives in the cutlery only sharp knives; can-opener would be useful; pots/pans comprised two frypans and one saucepan but no lid(s). Kitchen tap unit spins as you use it. Plug in sink does not seal - you had to run water continually to wash dishes. One kitchen light flickers then goes off - poor overall kitchen lighting. Fridge was off when we arrived – we soon found out why! - the fridge compartment froze all food/vegies/fruit even on the low settings!
Clothes washing machine good but no drying rack or washing line. Good to have a court yard but needs weeding and removing blackberries invading the unit steps.
Overhead light in the bedroom good however the two light switches in the TV/lounge room also turned on two different lights in the bedroom – so if someone wanted to sleep while another person wanted to watch TV either both rooms were in the dark or both lit up! One bed hard up against the full length of a wall heater and the bed couldn’t be moved because of insufficient space – would be problem in winter.
Consumables low – little dishwashing liquid, 1 sachet of normal coffee although half a jar of decaffeinated coffee, minimal shampoo/shower gel and that was probably diluted or poor quality. It was good though that tooth-brushes and razors were provided.
Overall could do with a good clean, fixing up wall-paper and tidying up
