I had booked a premium double room but the room wasn't premium even after changing first room ax the tv didn't work. The room was clean and the bedding was clean, check in was fast and the receptionist was very helpful when we needed to cange rooms. The furniture was dated in the rooms. When we went for breakfast ourselves and another couple were the only ones there, the breakfast was good though. I most probably wont use the hotel again.

Good service at reception on arrival very helpful and friendly room really nice spotless bathroom. Breakfast cooked to order excellent but served 7-9am a bit early on a Sunday.

More like a council estate than a hotel the stairs leading to the room was dirty chewing gum stuck to the staircase carpet and the room even though it was clean it needs major upgrades also the radiator in bathroom was on and could not be turned off wiifi pass word did not work I would not stay here again

I ended up not staying in the hotel as I felt unsafe. The lift had no lights in it, as a person staying alone at the hotel the accommodation blocks did not feel secure. The lock on the bedroom door was broken although it had a chain. I had to wash the cup before I could have a drink but then the kettle didn't work anyway. I would not recommend this hotel

'upgraded' dated, felt dirty

Upon arrival I was told my room was 'upgraded' I dread to think what the standard room was like because the room I had was dated and horrible. The lamp was broken, the toilet seat was broken. there was an apple left next to the bed on the floor. Breakfast was served AFTER 8.00am - no good for someone who has to be at work before 8.00am. I was even told by someone this 'hotel' is used by prostitutes!

The room was nothing like the photos. The property felt very run down. It was noisy in our room and lots going on in the car park that made us feel unsafe. All security features were broken. The door to block E just opened without using your room key and the chain on our bedroom was broken and looked like it had been forced. It was nearly adequate and not worth the money. I would not recommend.

Weekend stay in Birmingham

Good location and easy public transport into the city centre for a busy December weekend. Very friendly staff, easy parking and a good price. We chose the superior room so weren't in the ground floor motel style rooms, although we only used the hotel for sleeping.
