Amazing location with good public transport nearby to explore Malta. The area itself is lovely and historic. The accommodation was well equipped and comfortable but could do with a few kitchen utensils!

What a location! We loved exploring the small, clean, quiet town of Birgu from this rental. It was just around the corner from the town square where there are restaurants and shops. 1 minute to Inquisitors palace and 10 from Fort St Angelo. The townhouse is unique - great stone cut stairs and nice to have an upstairs, air conditioner, and washing machine. A couple notes are that payment and registration felt different than other VRBO processes as payment happens outside the system with the rental agency directly and there's an extra travel registration. All smooth and legit, though. Small glitches are that the shower water escapes the shower pan and smokers like to use the doorstep as a smoking seat - which means people may be on the stoop as you exit and enter and smoke gets pulled into the upstairs room. Advising that the managers put up a no-smoking sign. Still, for the price and location, I still very much recommend!
