The room was very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the free breakfast at the cafe across the street that’s associated with the hotel. There’s plenty of really nice shops and restaurants all around the hotel. Excellent place for walks in town or down by the lake. Absolutely loved my stay.

We loved our stay at Hotel Emma. We arrived late and used the self-check in service, which was very smooth. We were not in Östersund very long, so it was wonderful to stay in a central location to get a feel for the town. Loved that they sold some local products in their lobby. Great breakfast.

This was our second time staying at Hotel Emma. It is a small hotel with large rooms, a nice breakfast area and a lounge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in looked like the bathroom had just been renovated. The hotel in conveniently located on the main shopping street so that we were able to walk to restaurants and activities. I highly recommend Hotel Emma.

Surprisingly, this turned out to be one of my best hotel experiences in Sweden. Everything felt just right — from the overall atmosphere to the small details. The place has a pleasant vibe, the staff are attentive without overdoing it, and the room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was really good, with fresh options and a calm setting to start the day. The whole stay felt effortless — smooth check-in, quiet nights, and a sense that everything is taken care of. It’s rare to find a hotel where everything simply works as it should, but this one definitely managed that. I’d be glad to come back.

The staff was generous with their time and were very accommodating. They always tried to be helpful. I was able to borrow one of the hotels bicycles and it was extremely smooth and comfortable to ride. I had a wonderful time riding around the city and suburbs.

Minus för frukosten i annan byggnad som inte hade sÄ bra alternativ om man inte var förtjust i yoghurt eller fil. Jeg vill dele noen tanker om oppholdet vÄrt pÄ Hotell Emma. Selv om hotellet i seg selv har mye sjarm, historie og en trivelig atmosfÊre, som vi satte stor pris pÄ, opplevde vi dessverre en litt skuffende start pÄ dagen. Vi endte opp med Ä ta frokosten pÄ en nÊrliggende kafé, som viste seg Ä vÊre trang og hadde et begrenset utvalg. I tillegg var oppfÞlgingen fra betjeningen ikke helt pÄ topp. Dette stod i sterk kontrast til de positive anmeldelsene vi hadde lest om en herlig frokostbuffé, som faktisk var en av hovedgrunnene til at vi valgte dette hotellet. Til tross for frokostopplevelsen, vil jeg likevel anbefale Hotell Emma for de som setter pris pÄ sjarmerende atmosfÊre og historie. Alt i alt var det en blandet opplevelse, men det er jo gjerne slik det er med hoteller.
