Chestnut Meadow is situated just two miles from the beach at Bexhill-on-Sea and within easy reach of the historic sites of 1066 Country, so called after the 11th-century Battle of Hastings and the introduction of Norman rule into the land.

Battle Abbey, Herstmonceux Castle and Bodiam Castle are nearby to explore the area’s history, all reachable via local cycle routes.

Wonderful family weekend

The cabin is a wonderful place, the kids loved the garden with table, the lounge and the bedrooms. My son didn’t want to leave to go back home. The hot tub was lush and I really enjoyed it as it also was our wedding anniversary weekend away. It’s an amazing place for couples or friends but also great for a family. The only thing that wasn’t perfect is when I contacted the host to ask where we’d find the keys and I was told I had to make the payment or the booking would be cancelled. I had competed payment almost 5months ago, I sent the copy of it and host didn’t reply. The Osborne group managing the place was good, gave all details and made everything easy for us. We’ll definitely be going back.
