The owner responded really quickly and was very helpful re park even though we arrived early (this was done by text as owner is clearly not on site- you have key codes to get in. Room had coofee/tea but no fridge /hairdryer etc as advertised. However there was a heater in room so was warm bathroom heat was broken so very cold and could not get hot water. But we did not try the shower. The room i would discribe as 'digs' glad we only stayed one night.

The check in was supposedly open till 10pm, when I arrived after a day long train at 8:45 pm to check in, there was no one to check me into my room that I had already paid for. Pathetic service as the number to ring for assistance was on voicemail and after trying for a long time I had no choice left but to travel to a different place and arrange emergency accommodation for myself. Horrible experience, would never recommend this place for anyone

Didn't bother turning up due to the terrible reviews on every website so lost £100 and a day at the races aswell, lesson learned, look at the reviews before you book non refundable places, older,wiser poorer. ☹️
