Bethany Beach at Sea Colony

The condo was smaller than I imagined; Could use better lighting . Extremely tiny bathroom . Generally clean - except for dust cobwebs , dirty oven , dirty lawn furniture and deck , stained and very outdated toilet and tub . A/C very loud but worked. Toilet made noise all night long - seemed to be a dripping sound then periodic water filling …On plus side : many amenities that Sea Colony offers : use of beach, pools, fitness center, active tennis program , pleasant landscaping… Would have been helpful to have beach chairs and beach umbrella available. Shed was locked . Would enjoy staying at Sea Colony in future in. larger more updated unit

This condo was great for me, my husband and two year old. My only complaint is that the (only) bathroom is in the bedroom, so it was an obstacle during nap. Also the washer/dryer are in the bedroom too, so when the dryer runs the bedroom gets pretty warm. The bed was comfy but a squeaked a bit whenever you moved around (again not a big deal if my toddler was not sleeping in the same room). The toilet also had a few minor issues- it flushed but was delayed a bit and the seat creaked when you sat on it. Again, all of this is minor, but wanted to share. The back porch/deck was great- furniture could be updated a bit though! And the location is super close to the beach, so that was nice! We loved this spot and will definitely be back!

Well-maintained, clean & perfect for 3 people. The amenities at Sea Colony are endless & well worth the $40 (peak season) per person. Highly recommend this property if you have a small group!

not fancy, but sufficient

Great location within walking distance to the beach and the boardwalk. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Place was very small, but clean. The front door, kitchen drawers, and back shed need to be fixed. Never did get connected to the internet. Furnishings are old, outdated and need to be replaced. AC worked, but bedroom temps got very stuffy. Wish we had brought a fan.

Place was nice and clean. Small unit but close to pool, market and beach. Needs a new mattress on sofa bed, but other in main bedroom was great. Kitchen was well stocked.

Wir waren in dem Ferienhaus für 3 Nächte und sind froh, dass es vorbei ist. Leider haben wir die Bewertungen anderer Gäste zu spät gelesen.Das Haus ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, 70 er Jahre Style. Was nicht so schlimm wäre, wenn es ordentlich in Stand gesetzt und nicht so lieblos wäre. Ein modriger Geruch, Flecken an den Wänden und an der Decke...die Terrassenmöbel (ein Tisch und 4 Stühle) komplett zugerosstet, bewegt man sie, läuft rosstiges Wasser raus. Kein Sonnenschirm oder irgendeine Deko vorhanden.Das Haus selbst wurde nicht gründlich gereinigt, Spinnweben, Spinnen und Dreck war in jeder Ecke zu finden und die Spülmaschine war noch voll. Die Handtücher waren bis auf ein paar Ausnahmen, nicht wirklich sauber und auf einem befanden sich tote Tiere. Das Bett wird lediglich von einer Holzplatte und 3 Holzpflöcken gestützt (wenn diese nicht richtig liegen, stürzt es ein und es muss neu justiert werden).Die Lichter funktionieren nicht alle und die Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer ist scheinbar blockiert. Man muss die Tür zum Wohnzimmer auflassen.Preis- Leistung stimmt bei weitem nicht. Ich finde es schade und auch ärgerlich, dass dieses Haus so immer noch vermietet wird und man nur an Profit denkt. Ich hoffe, dass die Vermieter ein Einsehen haben und wenigstens mal einen Teil ihrer Einnahmen in die Renovierung investieren.
