Very friendly and helpful staff who organised anything we asked for. Nice quietish area at present though looks like it will get increasingly developed in future. Breakfasts good and evening meal also though there is a very nice beach restaurant 50 metres away. Sath Villa is highly recommended.

Fabulous Hotel

Lovely 6-room boutique hotel in a beautiful setting with a view of the sea. My ensuite double bedroom was clean and well furnished, with a balcony to watch the sunsets over the sea. The breakfasts and dinners were some of the best food I had eaten in Sri Lanka. The stunning beach is a minute's walk away and is suitable for swimming and body boarding and there is a pool and sun loungers at the hotel if you wish to stay closer to home. The staff were great and were ready to attend to your every need and the owner himself took me for a tour of the local town and to buy some souvenirs. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

Underbart ställe!

Vi avslutade vår 2 veckors resa på sri lanka med 3 dagar på Sath Villa. Det var över all förväntan, stort rum med stor balkong, utsikt över havet, pool. Rent och snyggt. Trevlig personal som hjälpte till med allt man behövde, transporter, utflykter mm. Dessutom gillade vi stranden med lagoma vågor. Kan verkligen rekommenderas.

Fantastiskt ställe där vi började vår vistelse på Sri Lanka. Oerhört trevlig och serviceminded familj. Stora, rena och fräscha rum med havsutsikt. Gudomlig mat!! Rekommenderas starkt!

War eine der besten und schönsten Unterkünfte auf unserer dreiwöchigen Reise durch Sri Lanka. Sehr persönliche und familiäre Betreuung in jeder Beziehung. Jedes Zimmer hat einen traumhaften Blick zum Strand, erreichbar in 1 Minute. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, abwechslungsreich, einfach erstklassig. Die Zimmer sehr groß, sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. Der Pool wurde täglich gereinigt. Transfer und sämtliche Ausflüge wurde auch perfekt organisiert. Danke für die schöne Zeit.

Die Sath-Villa ist eine kleine, nur 6 Zimmer stehen zur Verfügung, aber wirklich sehr schöne Unterkunft! Alle Zimmer haben einen schönen großen Balkon ,von dem aus man das Meer sehen kann. Der Weg zum Meer ist dementsprechend kurz und man kann sich zwischen dem Sonnebaden, auf den Liegen im Garten, eine Abkühlung gönnen. Der Moragalla Beach eignet sich, im Gegensatz zu anderen Stränden, relativ gut zum Baden, genauso wie zu tollen Strandspaziergängen! Mit Glück erwischt man einen schönen Sonnenuntergang! Das Frühstück bietet ausreichendes, um satt zu werden. Neben Toastbrot, Ei und Früchten gibt es immer eine leckere Spezialität, mal herzhaft und mal süß. Das Abendessen, für 15€ und als Vegetarier für 12€, ist doch recht teuer, aber es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall! Es wird von der Frau des Hotelleiters gekocht und war immer super lecker! Es gab typische Landesküche auf europäische Schärfe reduziert, sehr rücksichtsvoll! Das Hotelpersonal war imner sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Besonders Sunanda, der Hotelleiter, war sehr freundlich und hat sich bei kleinen Anliegen oder Bitten sofort darum gekümmert! Nebenbei bemerkt spricht er sehr gut deutsch, erklärt einem wunderbar, was sich gerade auf dem Teller befindet und ist für eine nette Unterhaltung immer zu haben! Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen! Einziges kleines Manko, dass keine Kartenzahlung möglich ist.

Moin, das bei Expedia.de eingestellte Foto entspricht, entgegen meinen Befürchtungen, der Realität! Diese neue Anlage verfügt "nur" über 6 großzügige Zimmer. Daher kann sich das 4, abends 5 köpfige Team sehr gut um individuelle Wünsche ihrer Gäste kümmern. Die Zimmer haben alle Meerblick, der Weg zum Strand von Moragalla beträgt nur "lumpige" 72 Meter. Daher kann jeder Gast bei Bedarf sofort zur schnellen Abkühlung gehen. Die Zimmer haben ein sehr großes Bett, welches auch für mich (1,95cm) völlig zufrieden stellend war. Matratze ist auch nicht zu weich. Das Bad hat europäische Sanitäranlagen, die Dusche ist groß, ebenerdig und man kann zwischen Handbrause und fest installiertem Duschkopf wechseln. Ein Highlight ist der sehr große Balkon zum Strand, auf dem sich zwei Liegestühle zur Nutzung befinden. Das includierte Frühstück ist reichhaltig, es gibt immer Ei nach Wahl, gepreßten Fruchtsaft, sowie einen Früchteteller. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir noch das sehr engagierte Hotelteam, was unauffällig von einem erfahrenen Mann, Sunanda, geleitet wird. Sehr zu empfehlen ist das abendliche Dinner! Es hört sich zwar mit berechneten 15€ erst einmal nicht so günstig an, ist für gute Esser wie mich IMMER ein Highlight des Tages gewesen.Sunanda fährt persönlich noch nachmittags zum Fischereihafen, um den letzten fangfrischen Fisch zu besorgen. Außerdem gibt es reichlich, mindestens 4 verschiedene Teller Beilagen. Vorweg eine Suppe, sowie danach ein Dessert! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Außergewöhnliches Hotel! Zimmer sind wunderschön mit tollem Ausblick und alles ist makellos sauber. Toller Garten mit Pool und eine familiäre Atmosphäre! Sudath und Nadeeka sind fantastische Gastgeber, man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Das Essen war hervorragend, landestypische Küche mit vielen verschiedenen Gerichten und jeden Tag gab es etwas anderes zu entdecken. Bestes Hotel in dem ich je war!
