We had a very comfortable stay. Great location. Beautiful hotel. Staff could be improved. They weren’t necessarily warm and friendly. Nor very helpful. Thankfully, we didn’t need them very much. Other than that. I would recommend this place. We had large windows we could open to let fresh air in. Otherwise, note the AC doesn’t seem to work properly.

We didn’t quite get the feel of a luxury hotel during our stay at The Westin. For the price, it didn’t feel worth it. We stayed two nights in a Deluxe King Room. The room was spacious and modern with a comfortable bed and sofa, but cleanliness was average. The bathroom had a few small insects, which was unpleasant. The room was overly warm, and although we tried to adjust the air conditioning, it didn’t cool. Reception explained the central AC is only activated after several warm days and suggested opening the windows — but facing Friedrichstrasse, that made it very noisy. Soundproofing overall was poor. Only one bottle of water was provided daily for two guests, and extra bottles incurred a charge — not very premium. The tea and coffee setup was minimal and not replenished, and the pillows were too soft with no firmer option. Wi-Fi was patchy. Service felt perfunctory. Check-in was slow with limited staff and no proper waiting area. The lobby looks grand at first but feels dated on closer inspection. Housekeeping was the biggest disappointment: our room wasn’t cleaned until we called, and when it was, the service was rushed and unprofessional. On the positive side, the location is excellent — right on Friedrichstrasse, close to shops, cafés, and major sights. Overall, the stay didn’t live up to the Westin brand. Everyone ee encountered was very attentive. Location cannot be beat. Great breakfast and lobby bar. The only minus is one cannot control the room’s temperature as it is “cold outside” which made for a few warm nights. Opening the window was not an option as Unter den Linden is loud with them open. Otherwise, excelent.

Great property in a super convenient location! Highly recommend staying here!!! The rooms are quite large as are the bathrooms. Staff is very helpful. We had a very enjoyable stay. Looking forward to a return trip to Berlin and staying here again!

Wonderful staff, spacious room with a fabulous shower. Great location with access to lots of coffee, shops and restaurants nearby only a mile and a half walk to the gate and park viewing area.
