This beautiful loft bed apartment centrally located in Mitte/Prenzlauer Berg is waiting for you! Freshly renovated in June 2018, the 40m² apartment has enough place for five to sleep. You’ll have your own private kitchen & bathroom fully equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Get ready for a truly Berlin experience complete with high ceilings just a stone's throw away from Rosenthaler Platz, Kollwitz-Kiez, Mauerpark and Alexanderplatz.

The pullout bed was broken which made sleeping on it very uncomfortable. Shower water pressure was excellent. Everything else was just ok. Can't recommend.

Not Very Clean

The property needs some love. Stoppers in bathroom and kitchen sink were not functional (kitchen stopper fell apart during our stay and had to be reassembled - lucky I had a screwdriver). Table and counter surfaces were not very clean when we arrived. Sofa-bed smelled funny and some cushions were hidden in a cabinet. Not what we expected at the premium price of this unit.

The property people were very responsive to my communications, questions, requests, etc. There were some issues, such as a problem with the property entry code and also with the wifi (apparently the previous tenant stole the router) but I was able to get the code problem fixed by calling while standing at the building and they made the correction remotely. They also sent a maintenance person very soon after we informed them of the issues. The wifi wasn't fixed while we were there but I believe it has been fixed now. The apartment itself was clean and good for our needs, i.e. a family of four and there was no problem with sleeping arrangements, including in the loft. The kitchen was good and the bathroom as well, reliable hot water and the shower worked fine. Towels were provided as well as three in one soap. One thing that they could do is add an electrical outlet because the outlets there were some distance from the bed so you couldn't have your phone with you in bed if you needed to charge it, which was typcial at the end of the day. The downstairs bed is a foldout and not incredibly comfortable but sufficient for our needs. The neighborhood is very hip with a lot of restaurants and establishments, and also good communications to pretty much any place in the city, and also seems safe. Tons of young people around and there's a good vibe.
