Very nice and safe district location, the area around look clean with local and family walking around. Good location for reaching different part of the city by the close by tram. The reception/breakfast area is clean and welcoming. The included breakfast is up to noon and offer food choice of fresh bread and cold meat to make yourself a good sandwich to start your day. Our room had 6 single bed and a 4 chair table, while simple, it was clean, spacious and perfect for family of 6. While there is no aircon, the rooms had 4 huge fully openable windows that gave us good cooling at night, we could hear some other rooms partying from the window but there is no noise coming from the street since it’s more of a inner yard in quiet street. Easy walk from the Main Street and Tram where you can find a wonderful kebab place and pharmacy. Very short walk to a wonderful pizza place and supermarket to stock on food and drinks.
Reception is on floor 3 and rooms on floor 4 and 5, but there is only one slow elevator.

Hotel Transit Loft

This is a budget hotel, very central. Rooms equipped with bare minimum for your stay ( towels, bedlinen, hairdryer). Very nice buffet breakfast served till midday. There is also a bar, so you can have a drink before bed. You can walk to Alexander Platz, but be aware it is 4 stops by tram.

So the room was a bit small and being literally in the loft, the room sloped and gave restricted head height. The other problem was that during the day it got really really hot, it was like being in an oven. The wifi was very unreliable. The breakfast was actually very reasonable and varied. Good effort there.

The rooms are big with lots of single beds , the bedding was very clean but the mattresses were very bad quality . The breakfast is basic with low quality food ( the coffee is disgusting ! )

Beds were good and also the breakfast. Nice lounge area where we could sit with a drink bought from the 24h reception. At the entrance it said "youth hotel". Many young people coming back from the bars in the morning, sp that can be a bit noisy. Especially if (when) they continue the party in the room. Parking can be difficult here. It's not possible to park with app, so you need coins or it's a 20 min walk to the nearest car park.

Would stay again.

Great place to stay, friendly, comfortable and clean. Only small negative is that it was not located on the street and there was very little signage to indicate the location. You need google maps to find it.

it is clean and friendly. the breakfast is very nice. beds super and the bathrooms nice and always with hot water .people working in it are very helpful and kind. the problem is that late at night the internet is not working and the lights go off out of the blue. furthermore, it is difficult to find the hotel because it is located in a covered walkway which is not noticable . there is not security too ..there is poor public transport connections (not many lines passing from this area) , all in all, it is a nice place to stay for a couple of days and maybe more.

Great for students who don't care about hotels

Go somewhere else during the Summer. It was 30°C for the week we stayed but the room doesn't have a fan or A/C so sleeping was a nightmare. The included breakfast was underwhelming with no hot food. Next time I will spend a bit more to stay somewhere nicer.

We wtorek there on an extremely hot day. The room was clean, nice but not all windows worked and it did not have AC, nor even a fan which made the stay very hard. Lofts normally get very hot when it's sunny so having no fan there was a mistake. Besides that everything was nice

Clean and simple

It's a nice place although it has a youth hostel feel to it more than a hotel feel. The rooms are small, the bathrooms smaller, and there are no amenities in the rooms. The wifi was down for a whole day too. But it's affordable, and the breakfast room was full of young families and youths. The neighbourhood is great, especially toward the northwest and Kollwitzstrasse.
