This hotel is the epitome of faux-luxury. The exterior promises glitz and glam, but the inside delivers cheap finishes and poor service. The beds felt like cardboard, and the pillows could have passed for folded IKEA towels. The rooms are clearly overdue for renovation—paint was chipping off the walls, the gym equipment was broken, and the thermostats were unreliable at best. In my first room, the thermostat didn’t work. I followed the posted instructions, only to discover around 4 a.m. that the “cool” setting was blasting heat. I woke up drenched in sweat, went downstairs, and the front desk staff confirmed the thermostat was broken. Unfortunately, he said nothing could be done until a manager arrived at 9 a.m. I ended up crashing in a friend’s room. At 10 a.m., the manager finally offered me a new room—which I appreciated—but that thermostat was also broken. Thankfully, after some trial and error, I managed to get it to work. I asked for a refund for the first night and still haven’t received a response from management Positives: The location is excellent, especially if you’re LGBTQIA+, as it’s right in the heart of the rainbow district. Great restaurants nearby, and the food at the in-house restaurant was genuinely good. Rating: 2.5 stars. The location and food are saving graces, but the rooms—between the busted thermostats, uncomfortable beds, and peeling paint—were trifling. I could’ve handled the heat issue (I’m a Southern American), but not those beds and pillows

The hotel doesn’t provide room service. If you need anything, the staff don’t bring it to the room, but you have to go down to reception and have to get it. For example, there was no iron and board in the room. I called reception desk and they told me to get down. The hotel should indicate that they don’t do room service!

The location of the property is excellent and the staff provided a very good level of service. The shower floor was for some reason very slippery (dangerously slippery). Reception also told us that it is the case with all rooms. However, housekeeping provided a mat on the shower floor, as soon as we pointed out.

The staff was friendly and approachable and the room was clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was excellent! Had many great options and food was delicious! The hotel itself was close to the transit system, and was very easy to get around from there. There were also many grocery stores less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

This hotel is only 5 minutes walking distance from the huge shopping building Kadewe, the main metro/train station. It's on one of the main street of Berlin so it's safe for late nights. The room is clean. There's coffee and tea with an electronic kettle available in the room.
