Staffs were friendly, the amenities were a little bit old but worthy for the price we have paid. Moreover, the location was so good that we could come to every tourist attractions within 15 minutes and the main station in 2 minutes. Lots of old stains... - Best feature is proximity to the rail station (10 min walk), Reichstag building and the Brandenburg Gate... - The breakfast is quite pricey (18 euros)... - The hotel is very close to Charite Hospital, so be prepared to hear ambulance sirens day and night... - no central air; you will get a heater to use, if you need one...

Nice hotel really close to main train station

Nice hotel and a great location, 10 mins from main station. Couple of small items- we were not provided with the normal information in the room, so we didn't know checkout times, bar prices etc, lots of drawers and cupboards in rooms so we may have missed it. On the first night we could not work out how to close the curtains, this made for a very bright morning, we worked it out the next day! If you have the circular room on the top floor look for a switch to close the curtains. staff were excellent.
