Pretty much exactly what I needed for a short break in Berlin - somewhere not too far off the beaten track (just a few minutes walk south-west of Frankfurter Tor U-Bahn station) for me to lay my head after a full day's tourism.
Service was friendly, the room was simple but had everything I needed. The hotel is situated in what appears to be a larger accommodation complex, with a rather imposing metal gate (I was buzzed in for tje first time, but the room comes with a key that fits all of the external doors) that leads into a courtyard with the door to main reception opposite. When I arrived back late in the evening, I had three doors to unlock before I could get to my room... I'm just glad I didn't go hard on the Oktoberfest celebrations!
The only caveat I would offer is that coming to Berlin expecting to be able to pay for things by card/electronically was a mistake - many places only accept cash, and I had to go without breakfast (about €6) because the hotel couldn't take card payment.
If/when I return to Berlin, I will definitely stay here again.
