Freezing start!
Nice comfortable stay at the Adagio. Arrived late 23:30 due to flight and train drivers strike. Couldn’t get in the front door because nobody was at the reception desk. Spent 10 frustrating minutes in the cold before someone exited and we got inside. Still nobody at reception and nobody answered the phone number supplied. Finally someone came to check us in. Room was ok but looking tired in places especially on the corners of the kitchen and the kitchen wall below the counter which was tatty. The service wasn’t as good as last year! Reception promises were not kept. Although the staff were generally friendly. Good location!

This is an apartment hotel. They don’t clean your room during your stay. I didn’t know when I booked it. But they emailed me immediately that it is like that. I didn’t think of it that much at that time. But it definitely was an issue for me after two days. The room had a kitchen with all the necessary things for cooking which I didn’t use. It might be good for some people but not for me. The breakfast was fantastic.
