Nice stay

Room was a bit uncomfortable at night due to the temps and humidity being too high with No A/C. As Bergen doesn’t need it for much of the year, there is no AC in the rooms. Otherwise a nice stay. The breakfast spread was great and staff very courteous.

Very nice staff, clean, nice decor, fairly good breakfast buffet. Rooms are tiny (as many in Europe are), especially 6th floor attic rooms. VERY stuffy. Window does open, but to noisy bar patio outside below. Large tour groups fill lobby. Staff should ask them to please wait elsewhere - you can’t get in and out of doors. View is limited to none.

Breakfast was very good. Location was very good. Room was clean. However, the doors were difficult to lock. In order for our door to lock when exiting, you had to slam it. That didn't seem to be really effective.

Excellent location. Close to the wharf and lots of good restaurants. Some of the rooms were a bit small but they were all super clean. The bed was super comfortable. I really appreciate the extra touch of super sound proof doors and rooms. The breakfast buffet was incredible. There is convenient parking right across the street.

Good hotel, but we were refused bar type food on a holiday evening despite the kitchen being open and serving dinner in the restaurant. Not the end of the world, but it was extremely annoying and frustrating.
