Good enough

Nice airy room. Comfortable bed. A bit noisy because of the traffic outside in the morning. A lot of buses. Most of the time the coffee machine in the annex out of order because of lack of water or coffee.

4 stars seem to be a high praise for this hotel which frankly seems to me to be a budget hotel. The rooms were dim (there were not enough lights to light up the room), and the lack of amenities is appalling - no coffee, tea, or kettle. It is shocking that this is a 4 star hotel. Please reconsider your options.

Nice and clean and central location. Room was very cramped though with bunk beds squeezed alongside the double bed - to the point that the double bed was pushed to the side and if I tried to sit back in bed I was hitting the bedside lamp. Also hot - no air con and reception said they’d run out of fans - could they not have bought enough to have at least one for each room? Particularly the rooms that get the afternoon sun. Not great service there folks.

The room: Dark and dingy. Weird smell. Dirty: saw hair from previous guest. Paint was peeling from the walls and windowsill was badly chipped. Overall, it looked like a one star motel used by hookers. Cold front desk staff who were unwelcoming, and not always present. Front desk was frequently unmanned.

Staff at the front desk were very nice. Breakfast was amazing and staff at the cafeteria were very efficient. Easy walk to the center. Easy to find. Shops and restaurants nearby. Lobby was beautiful. Free coffee and tea at the ground floor of the building where my room was.
