Rooms were nice and clean with nice breakfast. Most significantly though this hotel had a great location right in the center of town with an easy walk to the area’s highlights. The attached parking is convenient - though there is no elevator from parking to the lobby. And if you aren’t renting a car the airport bus - flybussen, stops right by hotel.

We had to wait to be checked in. Only 1 person was at the desk and there was a line up. Only one elevator was working . The other 2 were out of service. The fridge in our room did not work. Not a good stay at all. Lucky we only stayed 1 night as originally we were going to stay more.

No air conditioning in rooms

Not an ideal room for summer. Air conditioning is centrally controlled and the only thing you can do in the room is adjust the ventilation. We had it on and the room we were sweating. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly but the room was not well cleaned. I would only come back in cooler weather.

Location is very very great and very convenient for you to take part in various activities! Breakfast is very delicious and has a lot of choice, Its environment is wonderful and comfortable. I like this hotel and recommend it strongly.

there’s no AC which makes for a miserable summer time experience - this second floor “premium” room had some type of vent but no air flow coming out of it and opening the window you can hear very loud seagulls - the location is nice and the breakfast was good too

Booked because the hotel advertised AC. The AC was present but provided no cooling (expect for the lobby). The front desk staff was great but service in the room was poor - minibar and coffee not replenished during 3 day stay. Additionally several minibar items were missing but the front desk kindly reversed the charges. Front desk staff was overworked. Lines were always long with people checking in. They had lovely water and candies at check in but they were often empty because front desk staff were expected to refill despite constant stream of customers. Overall, an unremarkable solid busy hotel close to the city center.

Staff and food were excellent but the room was unbearably hot due to lack of air conditioning. I made sure that I booked a hotel with air conditioning but was very disappointed to find out it wasn’t working the entire time I was there.

Radisson is a good hotel in a prime location, just opposite the Bergen waterfront. The room was nice and quite big with nice tall ceilings. Everything in the room was neatly arranged without giving the feeling of over stuffed. The breakfast was ok. The clarion in Oslo had more things on the menu compared to this one. The carpets in the hallways appeared to be worn out and the elevator was slow but we were warned of maintenance work. Overall a nice place to stay in Bergen in the most prime location.

Lovely hotel, excellent location

Had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu in Bergen. Great location on the harbour with lots of shops, bars and resuarants on the doorstep. You are towards the edge of centre of town, so its a bit of a walk to other areas outside of Bryggen, but this is fine if you enjoy the walk. The hotel itself is great - staff so helpful, breakfast buffet was excellent, comfortable beds. Some rooms must have a lovely view, but ours looked out on to a brick wall at the side of a museum. That was a shame but wasn't a problem. The seagulls squawk 24 hours a day during summer, but that's not the hotel's fault! Just bring ear plugs! Overall a fabulous stay in a gorgeous city. Would highly recommend this hotel.
