Sandrati is a sophisticated, modern villa located on the exclusive Grenadine island of Bequia. It is in the perfect location on one of the Caribbean's most unspoilt islands. Sandrati is luxuriously designed, but not stuffy or formal. Even though it has all the trappings of a modern luxury home like travertine floor tiles, hardwood fittings, and elegant fixtures, it is still relaxed and inviting.
Sandrati Villa is a two story, two bedroom accommodation in Friendship, Bequia. The living room and master suite are on the top floor while the kitchen, dining room, and second bedroom are on the lower floor. The villa is fitted with a fully equiped kitchen, air conditioning in all bedrooms, and free WiFi. Free private parking is also available on site.
Sandrati Villa was recently renovated in 2016 and boasts 12 feet custom hardwood slide-away doors and large modern windows. The entire house is covered in elegant travertine tiles while the master suite includes a full ensuite bathroom.

This was a very poor experience. No clothes pins for drying line, main floor bed very low and uncomfortable, door to bedroom doesn’t have clearance, snagging floor, unusual smell on both main and second, separate keys for each area a pain, before apparent water issues, main bathroom piss smell, main floor shower cold water, no counter space main floor.
Also note, living in a family with people with physical issues, that any one with mobility issues would have challenges given the severe slope to walk to unit.
Lastly, directions to unit useless, no cab knew where to go, a quick reference to Diamond Village next door would have solved that. We messaged the host with these concerns and he only offered late checkout. We asked for at least some financial compensation but he did not respond. Avoid this place at all costs.

My stay at Sandrati Villa in Friendship Bay was delightful. The villa is spacious, beautifully designed, and offers stunning ocean views. The local community’s warmth and hospitality made our experience even more memorable. We felt genuinely welcomed and embraced by the friendly residents of Bequia.

Beautiful Bequia
The villa is perfectly placed for a short drive to the amazing Lower Bay or Princess Margaret beaches. It’s also very close to Friendship bay. The house is up on the hillside and both verandahs look out over the bay. Cindy cleaned the villa and changed all the linens every three days. The villa bathrooms are lovely and the kitchen with its bi-fold doors to the outside is fantastic for breakfast. You do need a car or you need to be prepared to take taxis as the house is a distance from town. We loved Bequia and the lovely people who were always friendly and extremely helpful. We will return I’m sure.
