The room smelled musty, the shower barely sprayed with a broken handle and the hall smelled heavily of Marijuana. The breakfast was basic but eatable. Thats why we rated it ok.

They were very accommodating and we had a good time at the pool and hot tub. There was left over clothes from whoever stayed In the room before us that we found in the closet. Otherwise, everything was fine. Breakfast was pretty good as well. Decent options

The beds were comfortable, we didn't stay for breakfast. The room next to us had a hole chopped in it and also looked like someone used a crowbar to break into the room. Than when we looked out the window and saw razor wire on top of the fence. I didn't have a feeling of safety!!!!

This is a fine establishment. I need to say that up-front. It is immigrant family owned, which can be code for some people. But this a compliment for this property. The family works hard, is attentive, appears very supportive of each other, and very outgoing with their guests. I would stay with them any time I was in the Saint Joseph/Benton Harbor area - they offered real value, and I liked the operators very much.

Property has no emergency lighting or backup generator. A storm knocked out power for 25 hours over the 4th of July weekend. No lights, a/c, internet, pool or breakfast. Just lots of stone age amenities. Doors were left open so that anyone could get in. Staff made no effort to refund even a portion of my stay. Dreadful experience.

The bathroom fixture above the mirror looked as though someone shot blood from their nose on the wall and the lamp. They were full hand prints on both of our headboards. All woodwork had scuffs and chips and were missing entire pieces of corners. Several times I came into the building to see customers standing, and waiting with no staff ever present. One time there was an elderly gentleman waiting to check in for 20 minutes when we came in the building. I told him that when we got to our room I’d call the front desk- No one showed up until after 25 rings on the phone.
