Nice room, comfortable bed. This is an old grand hotel in tip top shape. We often stay in this type of hotel in NH and VT and found the Equinox to be the best maintained of them all. All the architectural class of its age in virtually new condition. Nice, reasonably priced onsite dining. We didn’t use the large indoor pool but it looked first class. Pleasant staff. We hope to return. Recommend “Ok for breakfast”, a 2nd floor breakfast & lunch restaurant downtown.

Beautiful property, wonderful views, loved our room, loved the huge indoor heated pool and the outdoor jacuzzi. Bar staff, food and drinks were fantastic at the on site bar/restaurant The Falcon, shout out to Maddie for being awesome. Bummer the steal house was closed the entirety of our stay (Sun-Weds), but what are ya gonna do. Would recommend, and would love to return next autumn.

Stayed one night. Great location and beautiful resort hotel. Check in didn’t go well with 45 min delay. They gave us drink tickets and waived the resort fee. Other than that, great stay!

They charge for the old looking rooms more than a luxury casino-hotel in Boston does! Horrible, dirty, VERY OLD property with no convenience! No parking lots. No safety measures. The most horrible place I have ever seen in this country!

A beautiful historic hotel. Very nice staff at the bar & tavern. Our corner room had five large double-hung windows. We wish we could have stayed longer. A definite step above the usual branded chains.

Outdoor hot tub was pleasant, but the property looks and feels old and worn. Front desk staff were not particularly pleasant or helpful. Restaurants service was quite slow.

It’s a lovely 200 year old hotel that’s been updated nicely. It’s got 3 restaurants and a wonderful coffee bar in the lobby. The staff is very helpful and courteous.

The grounds around the hotel are beautiful. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. Paige the bartender is awesome. Breakfast was very good, highly recommend the skillet breakfast.

The staff was wonderful. I did request early check in but was informed that could not be guaranteed. When I arrived to check in, I was told that they didn’t see the request for early check in. I provided a copy of that very message saying it couldn’t be guaranteed.
