Great place to stay

I would definitely stay here again. Check-in was easy, and they accommodated our request for a late checkout. We had a little kitchenette in our room. We didn't use much of it, but greatly appreciated having a full size refrigerator/freezer to keep things from our cooler preserved overnight. The location was very convenient. The bed was the best of our seven-day driving trip, and the bathroom had kleenex! (which seems to be a "luxury" nowadays in most hotels.)

When I arrived, the staff were unable to check guests in because their "system wasn't processing credit cards." I explained that I already paid through hotels.com but they weren't able to get me my room. I only had 45 minutes between events at the conference i was attending, so it was really disappointing as i had been up traveling since 4 am. There were half a dozen guests who were also waiting. The staff were friendly and kind, but they were obviously overwhelmed by such an issue. Then once they were able to check me in, I rushed up to my room, now late for the dinner and upon opening the door, the room was full of construction materials and not in any condition to check in to. So then I had to go back to the desk, explain the situation and get a new room. Only to rush back out the door to drive across town for a dinner I was already late to. Not a great experience.

Perfectly fine quiet stay

We have stayed at several of the Home2Suites and like the others, the rooms were clean, fairly spacious with full size fridge and quiet. And…like the others, my biggest complaint is breakfast. This chain always seems to have not enough seating, the bar where they put the food is always too small and cramped and the food is sub-par. But…overall it’s an “8” - which is why we chose it when the price and location are right.

Home2 Suites nice room and building, breakfast not

Room and building are in great condition and very clean inside. Staff very friendly and efficient. I was looking forward to a great breakfast to start my two day vacation but the food was horrible and only decaf coffee was available on first morning. Caffeinated coffee was available on the second morning. I would rather go to McDonald’s for breakfast. The Canadian bacon on morning two had the taste and texture of a bicycle inner tube.

We enjoyed our stay here for 1 night. The view of the hot air balloons and mountains from our room was amazing. The pool was fun for the family. Our only gripes was the uncomfortable day bed for our young children, and the breakfast was pretty poor. The pre frozen sausage and egg patties were rubbery and cold straight out of the warmers. Definitely a cramped space for serving a full breakfast bar. The cook was doing his best with what he had to work with.
