The staff were absolutely amazing - helpful and friendly. Our room was clean, very well equipped with a microwave and fridge. We LOVED the balcony overlooking the lake. The food was excellent. It's beautiful on Lake Bemidji. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Staff were very friendly and accomodating overall. One thing that did NOT fit the whole experience was the breakfast. There was NO staff available to assist. We didn't know how things were to go. It would have been nice to have an option to order meat or eggs, or just have that option. We needed some assist and i practically had to walk into the kitchen to get this. It was not a great experience compared to other hotel's breakfasts and cost/ night here is considerably more expensive.

We enjoyed the warm, indoor pool, but there were no towels at the pool. My husband went to the main desk to ask about towels, and he was told that it had been a busy day and the towels were in the wash. Well, apparently they need to buy more pool towels, so they have a bigger supply! Also, our room was modern and clean, but the bathroom had very poor lighting, and there was no place at all to hang any towels.

Traveling with dogs limits options for us but I liked the cabin idea at this facility. I read prior reviews and booked anyway die to our limited options. Overall this resort could use updates to cabins and a good cleaning. No musty smell but dusty and cobwebs on porch, carpet stains. Beds comfy, amenities in room good, food was good, view nice, available extras like bikes and canoes great. Excellent mini splits for AC were quiet and cool! 3/5 would be my rating.

The room very musty. It appeared as they had shampooed the carpet and it was still very damp. Room furniture, doors etc from 1970’s and had not been kept in good condition. Large gap at bottom of sliding glass door that a mouse could easily walk in (ground floor). Glass doors horribly dirty. Good-bed and pillows very comfy.

We had the most relaxing vacation here. We will definitely be back! I loved being directly on the beach and hearing the waves at night. The restaurant is excellent. The lake is clear, sandy bottomed and not busy or crowded. Plenty of restaurants and shops within 10 minutes. You can rent kayaks paddle boards and boats. The cabin was slightly dated. The beds were actually comfortable.
