Beautiful property and it’s very nice to have 2 restaurants on site. Breakfast was delicious and our server Heather provided excellent service. A great way to start our day. The only slip-up was we booked 4 king rooms and at check in they only assigned 2 of the rooms with king beds, the other 2 were queen beds.

The Waring House was a lovely property. The room size was excellent and comfortable. The check-in was easy and the staff were most accommodating. Our only fault was that the room was in need of some repair, ie: the towel bars were loose on the wall and the taps needed to be tightened. All that said I would highly recommend The Waring House.

Stunning place to stay. Beautiful gardens, spacious room, helpful and friendly staff and delicious breakfast service included. The A/C in our room wasn’t working but as it cooled down at night it was comfortable. Staff offered to give us another room but as we were already unpacked we declined

Very nice surroundings, spacious room with two double beds in the "House next door" building. However, they need to replace the mattresses which are clearly showing signs of age. The springs have flattenned out and were no longer supportive even my 110 lbs. Bed springs also squeeked when the sleeper was turning over in bed. Housekeeping could also pay more attention to details. E.g no shampoo in the bathroom, when the room was cleaned, the open bar of soap and used cups in the bathroom were removed after our first night and not replaced. We tried to be ecologically aware and only placed the floor towel, one washcloth and a hand towel in the bathtub as instructed for replacement but all the towels were replaced.

The property was very nice. Housekeeping wasn’t up to par. Our room was never cleaned, even though we left a sign on the door handle to clean it. Room was smaller than anticipated but the decor was nice. Would have been nice if the room had a small refrigerator and microwave. The deck off the room was nice but the plastic furniture was filthy. Bathroom was a good size, but lighting could have been a little brighter. Just thought it was a little overpriced for what we got. I would probably stay somewhere else in the area next time. Complaints to the front desk went nowhere. They would just pass it on to management.

Very nice, appreciate they keep it as original. It's not your typical hotel, keeps its charm with the decor. Room was clean, spacious. Only item I would have liked is a mini fridge. The convenient of dining, having a pub and breakfast is amazing. Really enjoyed our dinner both nights and breakfast also fantastic.

Really nice property and had a shed to lock up our bikes. We stayed in a Victorian like room. Clean, comfortable, nice towels. Friendly welcome. Had an issue with a faucet in the room and we were immediately switched to a new room. The pub served good food and it happened to be jazz night, live band. Excellent full service breakfast!
