You will have access to the entire chalet except for two owners closets and the garage.

Air conditioning is in the great room, basement and second floor twin room only.

Four level spiral staircase not ideal for those with mobility concerns or for young children.

The house was amazing. Very cozy. We have been skiing at Shanty Creek for 30 years. Our group commented that this rental was the best place we ever stayed. Peaceful. Comfortable. Well equipped. Kara, the host, is fantastic. I recommend this place.

Beautiful home in a great location near shanty creek but tucked away in a quiet area. Plenty of beds and the deck is amazing. Only two suggestions would be a tv in the main living space (there is one in the basement/game room) and cutting knives (kitchen was otherwise full of everything you could need - silverware, plates/bowls, pots/pans, spices, etc)

We had amazing experience at the cabin. Located in beautiful neighborhood, there is plenty of space, bedrooms were very comfortable, the air hockey and darts in the basement definitely added to our entertainment. I would recommend this house to anybody looking for a place to relax. Kara was an amazing host!

Family Fun!

The property was wonderful! However countertop space was very limited in space. Luckily we brought a folding table and set it up in front of the sliding doors by the kitchen and that worked great! At first we were afraid of the stairs with the younger ones, BUT became accustomed very shortly after being there. All in all, a great place to stay! Even one of the little ones wanted to know if we were coming back next year!

Great Gathering Home for Family Memorial

Plenty of room for 2 family groups with 5 adult children gathering for a spring weekend memorial for a deceased nephew with other families at nearby locations. Host anticipated needs, and promptly communicated to ensure all our questions and expectations were were fulfilled. Everyone was able to adjust the temperature of their accommodations to their liking and were intrigued by the unique home design. The setting provided enjoyable walking, running, and hiking to nearby family gathering homes. The outdoor grill was great for preparing Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches for delivery to an extended family meal.
