Terrible service and a clear violation of Serbian law.
we had to fight for the most basic comforts,and received only rudeness.
The biggest issue – Beli Karton (White Card)
According to Article 111 of the Law on Foreigners of the Republic of Serbia, the host is obliged to register foreign guests within 24 hours of arrival. The owner took photos of our passports and then completely ignored the matter.
When we politely reminded her in the chat, she became openly aggressive: she accused us of sending “dozens of messages,” claimed she is “not a 24/7 service,” and told us that since we “only pay for accommodation,” we should stop bothering her. When we pointed out the legal requirement, she replied:
“Go ahead and teach me how to live and how to run my business."
In the end, we never received the official registration, which could easily have resulted in a significant fine at the border.
The apartment lacked the most elementary items:
No kettle, no cooking pot (only one frying pan), no microwave, no trash bin, no sponge or dishwashing liquid. Everything were brought only the next day after we complained.
The renovation was clearly unfinished. The entire bathroom had only one single towel hook.
No bedside tables at all next to the bed— nowhere to put personal belongings or phones.
The host is completely inhospitable, reacts aggressively to any reasonable request, and deliberately violates Serbianг migration legislation, putting her guests at legal risk
