The room smelled like an old dirty dishrag. We bought some Lysol from the Dollar General down the street, sprayed all the bathroom surfaces and even that couldn’t eliminate the smell. Thankfully the linens were clean and the bed was comfortable. I hope that the smell was merely the cleaning solution they used, but it was bad enough that we won’t return to this hotel if we are in the area.

The elevator was scary from the noises it made. They removed the ice machine from the 3rd floor and there was none on the 2nd floor.

I liked that there were trees & picnic tables behind the building. I like being outside. I don't like the new, stale "box" motels for the most part. This felt more homey than most.

Hotel was a convenient stay. The first room view had a lookout of the woods and ac was very noisey. Carpet was also ripped, shreded, and looked nasty. Second room was better and a view of the parking lot. Window was cracked and the ac smelled like pine from the trees directly outside. If you have allergies stay away.
