Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Very disappointing stay , We arrived after a 9 hour drive , when we arrived the cottage wasn’t cleaned and no bedding , We rang both Wayne and Karen , we decided to go buy some bedding , on route Karen did ring back to be fair and apologised saying she was told we was due on the 6th , (day of departure,) Went to the pub for an hour and Karen had the cottage ready , I thanked her by tx but no communications back , nothing from Wayne all week , I would of expected a follow up chat asking if everything was ok now , The bed or bedding smelt fusty , when returning from a day out the building had like a damp fusty smell , Settee isn’t very comfortable, couldn’t get a signal on the TV , and WiFi very poor , Overall very disappointing, we was due to leave on the Friday but left on Wednesday night , Shame as the pool is loverly , and the surrounding area is very nice , It’s obvious that the cottage suffers from damp as it has moisture traps in the bedroom and bathroom , Won’t be booking again .
