Disappointed...

The agent was very friendly and helped explain the facilities in the apartment. So that was good. The view from the balcony was truly outstanding, so that was even better. However, the apartment was cold, not very modern, not luxurious and the overall vibe was of a youth hostel. The swimming pool did not look like the pictures; it was a nasty green color with numerous plastic bottles floating in it (i did not want to know what was in them), so not chance of going in there. There were also additional fees that we had no expected per the hotels.com site, namely cleaning fees, additional fees for bedding (or bring your own) and fees for towels. Finally, given this place is in Italy, the price charged did not seem fair to us, given what we got.
