REception unprofessional; the toilet flush was not working well - complaint 3 times - no change. Pool in the morning wasn't cleaned, sometimes not open in time. Breakfast room had a charm of a train station; always had to ask for food. Once the breakfast hall wasn't open in time, too. Electrical installations in the room poor and some unsafe. Especially disappointing was the complete lack of a safety box or other safe storage possibilities! - We cut 3 days off because every night we woke up because of the bad smell from burned garbage und rubber - just annoying!

Very Good Hotel

The hotel was very comfortable and the staff was very polite and helpful. A restaurant would have been nice but that may be planned in the future. It is within walking distance to the center of town. All in all a very good value.

Battambang's top hotel

I could not believe my eyes whan I saw this hotel in such a small and not very touristic city. It was build in 2008. It looked like brand new. My room was big and the bathroom was luxurious. The bed was enourmos. I consider this hotel as four star with two star price. The breakfast was nothing special but it was good. There was beautiful swimming pool and a gym. There was some hassle with the bus ticket I ordered but finally it was found and I was refunded the overcharged dollars. Anybody visiting Battangbam - go there!

Unexpected

We were amazed to find ourselves staying in a very large, modern hotel, in what seemed to be a rather small, out-of-the-way place. We weren't there for long, but found everything we needed (my family were very glad of the pool, especially). The staff were helpful and gave good advice when we asked.

Mittelklassehotel in Battambang

Das Hotel ist durchaus ok. Die Lobby ist pompoes und kitschig, die Zimmer recht ansprechend und sauber. Freundliches Personal, mit teilweise geringen Englischkenntnissen. Umfangreiches Fruestuecksbuffet, sowohl mit asiatischen, als auch mit westlichen Gerichten. Der Pool ist zwar gross und das Wasser klar, doch es waren enorm viele Insekten am Beckenrand. Das Fitnesscenter hat nur ein paar wenige Geraete. Das Zentrum von Battambang ist nicht allzu gross; das Hotel ist zwei Bloecke vom Fluss und 2-3 Haeuserbloecke vom Markt entfernt, zu einigen Restaurants sind es dann noch 2 Bloecke weiter. Alles in allem nicht umwerfend, aber durchaus ok.
