Amazing getaway location, 100% recommend!!

This property is in a FABULOUS location away from traffic and noise, so it has a perfect "getaway" feel. The house is homey and comfortable, and it's clear that the hosts paid attention to every single detail. There was fresh fruit, flowers, and cookies waiting for us, adorable lights were on on the front porch, and they left little notes to guide us in our stay. Each room is beautifully decorated and the amenities were wonderful--a FULL coffee bar complete with coffee, tea and creamer, full sized soaps in the bathrooms, COLD A/C plus A/C fans in each room, soft blankets everywhere, filtered water in the fridge, and the list goes on! The Roku TVs in the living room and both bedrooms were a great touch as well. The surroundings are beautiful--it feels like you're camping in the woods but have all the comforts of home. As we were notified, the house uses well water so there is a slight sulfur odor when first running the faucets. But that absolutely no negative affect on our stay. The area is close to Bastrop and Cedar Creek, and seeing all the back roads of Texas was wonderful. If you're looking for a nice private getaway in a homey, comfortable house, this is your place!
