Good value for the price. There was a leak that caused the carpet at the foot of the bed to be squishy with water. Heater had a rattle that kept occurring. Exposed pipes in the bathroom for hot water heater should have been boxed in; old pipes.

This is our second time staying at the Villager Motel last minute and will be returning. The location is down the road from Attitash Mt and has been perfect for our hikes nearby. The room with a kitchenette was excellent for making dinner late or breakfast early when nothing was open.

Compared to other hotels/motels in the area ( and we stayed at a lot in New Hampshire) this one has decent mattresses, nice grounds, and cleaner.

Water heater in the bathroom leaked. Woke up in the morning to find a pool of water on the floor, some of which had run under the wall and soaked a section of carpet in the bedroom area. When I reported this to the desk manager, she shrugged and said "yeah, we know". !

Hotel was clean, but since we were the last to book on a major busy weekend... we got one of the rooms way in the back, but considering all things... I would go back again, but not with my wife... a place to crash and ski or visit the area.... it was fine....

There was a table and two chairs but the chairs collapsed. The staff provided one better chair for us. There is nowhere in the room to hang something, not a hook or a closet or a hanger. Nothing. You drape your jackets or whatever over the chair or sofa or something. No hair dryer in the room. The front desk lady brought a hair dryer to our room and it was one that looks like it was torn off a wall. I improvised and made it work. There is a nice window that looks out on the back woods but also all the crap that they have dumped, old tires and sinks and rusty old tubs and other garbage. The staff was nice but the joint really needs help. Ugh, We wouldn't stay here again.

Typical 1960s roadside motel, with large parking lot and drive up to your room. Check in was very friendly and speedy. I commend the owner for the wonderful room upgrades, with new bathroom tub/shower, sink, and toilet. New chrome fixtures, and clean caulking. The bedroom was recently refreshed also with comfortable beds and nice linen. AC/heat unit worked well. Coffee pods, micro and small refrigerator all in working order. The area is convenient to North Conway dining and touring.

Staff was great, bed was comfy snd room was warm even when very cold outside and in a nice area but... 1: Room definitely needs to be cleaned better. Rugs ripped a dirty, looks like blood splatter on walls, etc. TV Remote, wall switches, etc., had "goo" (candy or something else) on them.And other unclean conditions. 2: Long term family rentals maybe, so not the quitest place to be. But was ok after 9pm.
