Only stayed for one night on my way to a different city. Hôtel was nice and staff was friendly. Seemed clean throughout the building. The room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke even though it was a smoke free room (the smell could have came from another room). Also, the towel provided had makeup on it from a previous resident. We were only provided with the one towel and there was no staff to request additional. We did check in late and they accommodated us with a hidden key. Aside from the two issues it was a nice stay for a quick night.

Total mess with the check in all out of control

Checkin was very bad. We did call to inform that we was late, and the Hotel told us that they would send us a email with information's of how to come to the room when hotel was closed. We DID NOT GET ANY EMAIL from the hotel and when we did arrive at 03:00 we had no information and no help! Luckily for us there was some other guests who had other problems with the hotel there in the middle of the night so they did help us inside! Really really bad service and experience! The next morning was even worse! The house cleaning tried 4 times to enter the room for cleaning even if we have hanging the no service sign on the door. The person entreer the room before our check out and we needed send here out, but came back again and again. Extremely rude and disrespectful treatment, and totally unprofessional! When we complained they told us that this was all our fault and they didn’t say that they were sorry and they didn’t apologize for all the things that happened to us! We will never come back again and we will not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Receptionist didn't explain about any evening meals as private party took priority. Room had no refreshment tray or fridge - which is always had within this chain previously. Bathroom needs replacing, tiles loose, blind missing yet chain still there, toilet seat pealing, just not what you expect so won't be returning.

Short stay en route from Basel airport to Germany

Arrived after 11 pm but I phoned up earlier. Key was waiting for me in safety box. No bar open Monday night in hotel or in the neighbourhood. Left the next morning at 7.30 am after a quick breakfast. Good hotel for a quick stay.

Not a great place but reasonably low cost, partly refurbished rooms but old mattress and bathroom. No written menu in restaurant which made it difficult for a non-French speaker as the staff did not speak English
