Just a 15-minute walk from Murat and a 30-minute stroll from the historic centre – Bari Vecchia, the apartment is ideally located. Wander through the narrow streets and enjoy the delicious local food at one of Bari’s many excellent restaurants and cafés.

If you are tempted to recreate the local food at home, then try the daily fish market on the elegant seafront (Lungomare) where the fishermen sell their catch directly from their boats. Bari has many other markets including the Monday morning flea market in Via Napoli (20-minute drive) where you can find handicrafts, textiles and interesting craft items. For daily basics, there are supermarkets and bakeries close by.

Guests will want to explore some of the smaller towns around Puglia such as Alberobello (50 minutes), famous for its Trulli; Polignano a Mare (35 minutes) which offers excellent snorkeling and Monopoli (40 minutes,) with its charming winding whitewashed streets and ancient harbour

Bari airport is just 25 minutes away and Bari Centrale railway station is 5 minutes by car.

There are no windows. Only one frosted glass window high up for a little light. It is very damp. It smells of mildew and there is mold and mildew on the walls. Really did not like the bed or pillows. Very low quality. Soft and lumpy. I actually have never slept on a mattress that bad. It is about 25 minute walk to the old town. The washing machine worked well. You need a couple of days with the air conditioner on to dry clothes. The air conditioner worked well.

Zimmer Grösse und Stauraum für Kleider und Persönliches ist ok, auch Kochmöglichkeit und Kühlschrank in Ordnung (im Eisfach wäre es angenehm, wenn Formen für Eiswürfel zur Verfügung stehen würden) Leider kein richtiges Fenster zum Öffnen, das fehlt definitv. Der Duschkopf möglicherweise verkalkt, jedenfalls funtionierte die Dusche nicht perfekt.
