The lady who called me regarding my booking the day of to notify me of charges also ended up being the lady who checked us out. She was a bit rude and not very happy or friendly. The lady who checked us in was fabulous. I do not like the fact that they pre-charge your room hours before you are even allowed to check -in. I was notified of charges at 1030 am, but not allowed to check-in until 4pm. I have never been charged like this before. Usually I am charged when I check in. It was a little off-putting and when I questioned it, the employee who called me seemed annoyed that I would question it at all. The room was clean and cute, however they placed us two doors down from the bar which was very noisy. Thankfully it closed at 11, but between 7-11 we had to listen to drunk & annoying Loud-mouth Lucy chatting everyone up. Had we been upstairs or even at the other end of the hall, it would have been much more enjoyable. Insulation isn’t great as we also had a stomper above us and could hear everything. The bed & pillows are quite comfortable. The pool & hot tub were closed for unknown reasons (inside), and our shower/tub was VERY slow draining. Overall it was a decent stay for what we paid; our room location just really sucked.
