I’ve stayed at countless hotels and have never been made to wait until the exact minute of a 3pm check-in. After receiving multiple emails beforehand encouraging online check-in, we arrived at 2pm following a long travel day in pouring rain, only to be met by a rude and unhelpful receptionist.
We were told the rooms were “full” so there was no possibility of cleaning a room early — which makes absolutely no sense. Check-out is at 11am and check-in isn’t until 3pm, so rooms should reasonably be cleaned well before new guests arrive. The hotel was also not busy at all, which made this explanation even harder to believe.
The room itself was just as disappointing. The walls are extremely thin, if you want disrupted sleep, stay here. You can literally hear conversations from the rooms next door. The room was unbearably hot with no way to turn on air conditioning or even a fan. Our only option was to open the window, which meant listening to constant freeway noise all night.
Overall, it was a very unpleasant stay with poor service and basic comfort issues. This hotel is mediocre at best and absolutely not worth the price. We won’t be returning. Stay away.
