Barberino Tavarnelle Holiday Packages

We are in Italy (from New Zealand) for 3 weeks. We’re based in Venice but trained to Florence for one night and stayed at Santa Maria Novella. It was the most I’ve ever spent on one nights accommodation but I can whole heartedly say it was money well spent! The staff are fabulous, we arrived quite early on the train from Venice (the train station is super close so nice easy walk) and it was no problem to store our bag before check in. They also stored our bag between check out and our afternoon train. The hotel itself is in the best possible location. Walking distance to everything. Fabulous restaurants close by (ie steps away). Our room was pure luxury. The entire shower and most of the bathroom was marble. The bed was huge and super comfy. The buffet breakfast was the best we’ve ever had. From cereal and yoghurt to bacon and eggs to pastries etc. They staff also make coffee and tea to order. Everything was perfect.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Centrally located and eady walk to and from station .

The staff were very welcoming and provided helpful information. The location was superb and the rooms were a great blend of old and modern. Would definitely stay here again.
