Nice clean room with a waterfront view, comfortable bed and quiet setting. We only had breakfast while there. I had the Lobster Benedict both days. Delicious. Service was slow. Servers seemed disinterested in refilling coffee, checking on tables etc. otherwise overall a great place to stay.

Either Expedia or the Holiday Inn failed to communicate the fact that the Holiday Inn was closing on the same day as our arrival. The person that greeted us -well, we actually greeted him- informed me that we would then be transferred to another hotel of the Holiday Inn's liking. I was very upset after an eleven hour drive and now confronted with the spectre of not having a place to stay for the night! Turns out the hotel was actually nicer than the Holiday Inn, but the fact that I was not told or informed that the hotel I booked was closing for the season was very stressful for myself and my wife. Try to do better next time, Expedia. Don't book appointments for hotels that are closing down. Thank you.

This property has a fantastic setting, nice grounds to walk, and chairs to relax. The staff was very nice; rooms were quiet and bathrooms spacious with great showers; will definitely return!

The hotel itself was excellent — very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The facilities and atmosphere exceeded my expectations. However, I felt that the staff could improve in terms of attentiveness and friendliness. A bit more professionalism and warmth from the team would make the experience truly five-star. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would consider coming back once service improves.

Lighting in rm 111 was too dark. Bathroom lighting was bright enough but too glaring. Plastic cups were very flimsy. Generally uncomfortable.
