Only regret was that we only stayed one night! Loved this Inn so much. It is located just out of the busy town area, but close enough to walk. Rooms are very roomy and clean.

We had a great stay at the Cromwell Harbor Motel. All of the staff we talked to were wonderful, and it shows that this is a family-owned establishment. The location is absolutely perfect - a short walk to town, but just out of town so it's very quiet at night. The rooms are huge and completely clean. All of the grounds, including the pool, look immaculate (although we didn't use the pool). Ample parking as well. Would definitely recommend!

Would've guessed a higher than 2 star motel. It was definitely above average. Even though they did not have daily housekeeping, you could ask for pretty much anything before noon (towels/coffee/TP/etc) and it would be at your door later that day. Room was larger than I expected and served our needs. As others have said, close enough to walk into town and far enough away to enjoy the quiet

Joy and her family own and operate the hotel. It is extremely well cared for, clean, comfortable, and convenient. It’s at the end of the main street for shops and restaurants, but it is separated from the “activity” of town by a city park. Best stay for the money in Bar Harbor.
