Loved coming home to a glamorous, extremely well-appointed tent. There’s nothing the resort didn’t think about in terms of room amenities. The easily-accessible breakfast at the sun-drenched modern lodge was lovely. A bit disappointed by road noise at night, lack of protein (I.e., eggs) at breakfast and confusion about when and even if the hot tub was available in the evening. Staff pleasant but not the most attentive.

Terramor was a great alternative to your typical hotel experience. Very dog friendly. It was great to have our own private campfire right near our tent. Only complaint is that the food menu that was posted online for the restaurant was not the same as what was actually available, which was a very limited menu. The food was good, just not enough variety.

Great concept. Tents were large, showers great, and a nice experience too. Focused mostly on families with young children. If you want quiet before 10pm, you may not like it here. You can hear neighboring tents, even though they are spaced nicely. It didn’t bother us. Close to Acadia.

This is a very overpriced kid and dog-friendly "glamping" experience that is not well-managed. The kids in the tent next to us brought tamborines to play with and the whole group screamed and yelled at each other the whole time. You can hear everything -- even a cough from the tent next door. You need to pay $25/night extra to ask for a quieter location, and they might not oblige. We were in A08 (an upgrade for quiet) and still we were rightnext to several other family tents. The staff smile without warmth. No one helps you with your bags, they just point you towards a wagon. The distance from car to tent can be long. The pool was small, the hot tub jets didn't work. The onsite restaurant packed full of kids. $7 for a latte, the minimum tip asked was 45%. Bedside tables were rounded so nothing can be put on them & no other tables in tent. Lights over bathroom sink didn't work. Fans beeped & changed speed on their own -- connected the remote of the tents next to us as well as to our own remote. The front screen had big holes that had been crudely patched -- looked like a cat had tried to climb it. No insects at all (they must use a ton of insecticide.) We had 1 quiet night and next day 2 noisy families moved in so we left early. We needed a dog friendly place to stay & I was curious. The tents are nice but the place doesn't do enough to separate the kids from the people who want a quiet stay. Trains have a Quiet Car -- why can't this place figure something out?

We enjoyed our glamping experience! Our location was very quiet and I enjoyed the bird and animal sounds while relaxing in my screened in porch and tent. They have tried to include rverything you need for the experience including free ice! The walkways were well maintained and parking areas w the carts. Unlimited firewood was great perk. The lodge is lovely w well appointed bourbon bar and coffee. Includes breakfast was great though I didn’t see the mentioned hard boiled eggs, would be nice as another high pro selection to the mix. Additional lawn games would be a nice touch as well as board games for downtimes in the lodge. Another observation, it would be prudent to let guests know that the Thursday Pints w a Purpose event overtakes the resident parking, we had issues trying on return to camp. A resident warning would be good. Overall, a wonderful time although a bit pricey for multiple tents. We will be back if in the area again.

Amazing gramping

Everything was excellent. It was just mosquitos that annoyed us and we got bitten a lot. I should have brought a mosquito repellant. They actually sell it but I didn’t realize it until check out. I wish I would have known!

Rocky start.. but ended with a bang.

We arrived early and our room was not ready- no problem. Came back hours later to a very overly full parking lot . Couldn’t park close to our tent- you have to haul all your stuff yourself. Kitchen shut down- we were starving, all because they were doing a benefit. Wish they would have let us know. Communication is key. Then to find out pool shuts down at 8 for kids- seriously? Then, Quiet time at 10- really? It’s summer. Other than our first day , things were good and it was a nice outdoor resort. Bed was very comfy. Nice shower, but hot water runs out quickly. Would I do it again? Probably not. I don’t like mosquitos. However, I am glad my family and I experienced it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Terramor. We wanted something a little different than a standard hotel. This was the perfect glamping experience. We happened to be there during a colder period in the summer. The tent was provided with two different types of fans with heat options which was really useful during the night. The pool was heated perfectly to still be able to enjoy it, and the hot tub is such a nice amenity after a long day of hiking and exploring. On of the employees Devin was super helpful and kind when it came to the pool and hot tub, we had forgotten our lantern and he gave us his flash light to walk back to the tent with. The bar and restaurant add the perfect amount of luxury to your stay while still feeling like you are out in nature. We did not have time to use any spa amenities but everything offered looked really relaxing and enjoyable. 10/10 experience and we can't wait to make this a tradition each summer.

We had a great time visiting Maine and Terramor. We enjoyed that Terramor had adult hours at the pool, the complimentary fire wood stations were always well stocked, and the food was pretty good. However there was some issues with road noise at our site. We could hear the road all night and our view was of someone’s house which was disappointing when you spend so much money and travel so far to be in the peace and quiet with nature. The front desk said we could move our cabin but after checking 3 different times over 2 days the front desk still was not able to coordinate with house keeping to move us into a different yurt. In addition house keeping woke us up at 10:00 at night to deliver a heater we never asked for. The food was good but my dinner came out 20minutes before my husband’s and he ended up having to go find his at the kitchen. The wine was okay but my pour was maybe 3 small sips at best. Compared to a full cocktail or beer my husband and I would never finish our drinks around the same time like most other restaurants. Overall we did enjoy our vacation yet there was just some areas for improvement for future guest.

Not the retreat I’d hoped for

Our tent was amazing- Everything was well appointed, comfortable, and better than we expected, except our tent was one of a few that backed up to a busy road. I was expecting a peaceful outdoor retreat and instead heard mostly road noise all night. Our view was of the road and other houses. Also, since we booked right before busy season, not everything was offered or available. I would have been more upset if I had paid full price for this booking.
