2 bedroom 2 bath unit on the second floor of Sugar Top high rise building. This one has stunning views of Grandfather Mountain and far beyond. The Sugar Top facility has indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna and fitness room, as well as 24 hour gated security. This particular condo has a king sized master bed, a queen sized bed in the second bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Kitchen has pots and pans, dishes and silverware, small appliances. NO coffee is provided, but we are now stocking units with salt and pepper, and cooking oil. Keurig machine in kitchen.
Sugar Top condominiums do not have air conditioning.
The units only have a 38 gallon water heater, due to space limitations.
This only permits a 3-5 minute shower before the heater needs to recycle and reheat.
Key pickup at rental office prior to arriving at property.

Our stay on Sugar Mtn

The condo is located on the beautiful Sugar Mountain. The views are beautiful and the staff are super helpful! Even though the building has hundreds of units it was really quiet. The condo is dated. The guest bathroom ran several times but overall it was comfortable and a nice place to stay of the holiday weekend.

Great view and great amenities

We had a great time staying at this property. The place was very clean and there was a good amount of space for my husband and I and our kids. The view is absolutely stunning especially in the snow. We were expecting the drive up to be tough but the roadways are kept clean and free from ice. We had everything we needed for cooking and there were plenty of towels. The indoor pool and hot tub were great! The only downside I had about this property was having to park our van and ride another van up to the condo. It was just a bit inconvenient with kids. But overall I'd definitely stay here again.

Loved that the condo was central to a lot of what we chose to do. (Grandfather Mountain, zip line tour, yummy food). Having no air conditioning really wasn’t an issue as it cooled down a lot at night, even late July. Having to park a little bit DOWN the mountain in overflow parking was annoying, but the shuttle service was on point! We never waited. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

Update

This property needs a serious update! Everything is from the 80s from the stove to the curtains. Blinds don’t work drains leaking, burners on the stove need to be replaced and the toilets hardly flush. I’m sure some are nicer than others but not 2210 the management company did try to help and did go get a new air mattress to replace the broken one in the pull out couch. Location and view are great!

It’s clean the only thing it’s not draining the water on the guest tub shower Every shower you have 4 inches water on your foot But good view and nice to stay we will recommend

Everyone was kind & the view was magical

The unit was very nice & well equipped. Although there was no internet access in the unit it was good to be away from it for 2 weeks. I understand that the internet will be available soon for future guests. The view was always changing, I hated going to bed 😊. I highly recommend this until to everyone who just needs to take a break and relax.
