Loved our stay.

Fantastic 2 night stay - would have loved to stayed longer. Fabulous room with pool and part river views. Unique wall and fabric designs touches give the hotel a unique 'one off' feel. Staff helpful and friendly. Complimentary river shuttle boat runs only once an hour, so you might have a bit of wait getting back and to if using that option. Taxis can be quickly ordered for you at front desk if required though. Liked that they had arranged price with Taxi driver for us so we knew the price when setting off. Had drinks, Thai craft beers, in the evening outside at the Tap Room watching all the river boats sail past - very relaxing. Didn't get chance to use the pool.

Fantastic Hotel

A beautiful hotel with impeccable service. There is even a free ferry service every hour to IconSiam (to and fro). Takes just 15 mins on the river and avoids the dreadful Bangkok jams! I would defintely return if I was ever in Bangkok again.

Fantastic hotel, staff all very pleasant, rooms comfortable beautifully decorated. The style of the rooms was very calming. Hotel runs useful boat service to the nearest centre and shopping mall. The only very small issue was the limited number of sun loungers around the pool.

Birthday getaway

I chose the Salil Bangkok Riverside for my birthday weekend getaway. It was a lovely stay, the room was nice and comfortable ( only downside no enclosed closets but there is space for you to hang your clothing and store suitcases however not more than 2 or 3 suitcases will fit). Bathroom was spacious with lots of amenities and the bathtub is a soakers dream come true! The Spa was beautiful and the pool area was clean and welcoming. Get there early if you want ro lie in the sun as loungers are limited. The hotel has several restaurants and little shops to explore. If you are looking to explore the riverside the hotel has a complimentary boat that takes you to Sathorn pier and Icon Siam. You are also within a 10 minute walk to Asiatique which has a ferris wheel and many shops and food stalls to explore. My only complaint is the breakfast buffet. Though it was full of yummy options both days I was there the food was cold in the areas it was meant to be warm. Fix that and you'll go from 4 stars to 5! Overall a great stay and yes I would come again and most definitely recommend it to others!

Excellent hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at Salil Hotel ...love the location by the river Chao Praya and the service yatch that can take you to Icon Siam. The excellent restaurants and cafe inside the hotel are really good. Breakfast buffet is really good with excellent staff to assist your needs. The concierge service is top notch. We highly recommend this hotel.

I was extremely pleased with my room and the aesthetics of the hotel. The breakfast was not as good as I expected it to be. This is the third hotel I stayed in during my trip to Thailand and the Salil’s breakfast buffet was not remotely as good.

great hotel with fantastic service

The service was faultless. The hotel is right in the middle for tourists to visit and site see. it was a little tired in places but always clean and tidy. Breakfast was terrific with massive choice. My only criticism was the on site restaurants which tried to offer dishes slightly outside the norm which wernt to my taste. Thats not to say others would feel the same. Would I go back again...... Absolutely yes.

The best value for money riverside hotel in Bkk

The hotel is so charming with beautiful room, pool and courtyard. Everything is spotlessly clean. We love all the shops and cafe/restaurants at the hotel including the Karmakamet scent store, Japanese ice-cream and Brix Cafe. They offer a lot of free stuff and activities as well. They have a boat to BTS station and IconSiam every hour, making it very convenient for guests to go around. Compared to other hotels by the river that we have stayed at/visited, Salil is definitely more boutique but charming and offers best value for the money. Book room with Pool View and up as it would be a shame staying in rooms in block C with no view.
