It was an okay stay. Facilities were v good but the hotel does not do 5 star service. Breakfast was v good, rooms were a high v standard. Points I wish were better were: - difficult to get a space by the pool - and towel hogging behaviour at times - staff sometimes said hello when you walked past, sometimes didn't - water was in plastic bottles - glass please - room service could have been a level up - more pristine making of bed for example Overall felt much more like serviced apartments than a hotel. I recognise it is also serviced apartments - but in which case don't say you're also a hotel.

SILQ is one of the hotels that we genuinely miss! The bed was super comfortable, service from the various staff members was always pleasant, and the gym/swimming pool were amazing!

Did not have their breakfast so cannot comment on that. They upgraded us to a corner room as the one we booked is currently facing a construction site and so do appreciate the initiative by the staff at SILQ. The layout of the room is excellent and the bathroom is huge, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a washing/dryer machine and a separate living room. They even provide washing powder, so thoughtful. The design of the room is very well thought out and the fittings and furnishings are top notched. I really cannot fault anything on the interior, classy timeless style and everything you will need in a room. The beds were super comfortable, soft plush mattresses and the beddings were so soft, they lure you to stay in bed all day but Bangkok beckons! Towels were clean, nice and soft. Huge table at sink, great for 2 gals with all our skincare and makeup stuff. Bathroom shower and bath, excellent!!! Water pressure and temp all good. Toilet is the Japanese kind, auto flush! The only negative thing is the TV, I cannot cast or mirror on my phone. It is quite a walk out to the main road where the Phrom Pong BTS is so be prepare to walk a bit. Since it is not by the main road Sukhumvit, the place is much quieter. Shout out to CoCo the concierge, he gave us good tips on Bangkok and even got us a transport to the airport at a better rate than Grab.

We decided to treat ourselves to a nice hotel for our last night in Thailand, and boy were we happy we did! Silq hotel was AMAZING. Our room was incredible: 23rd floor with little balcony and amazing (sunrise) views of the city). Super spacious with full kitchen, coffee making bar, mini laundry room, gorgeous bathroom and even a dressing area! Super comfortable bed. Super luxurious room. Staff was amazing and super attentive. Breakfast spread was insane: you could stay there for a week and not eat the same thing twice. And the food was delicious. Only things we didn't love: had dinner in the restaurant and were a bit underwhelmed. Food was good, but not amazing. Little bar was ok (small and dark); we drank our "complimentary" drink (only 2 somewhat boring options) and left right away. We checked out the pool area and didn't look at cool as in the photos. We didn't have time to hang there, but probably wouldn't have done it anyway. To sum it up: we LOVED our room and the breakfast buffet, but the rest of the facilities felt just ok. Not bad but not on par with our room.

Very friendly staff and very comfortable bed. Nice and convenient location that’s off the main road. Generally clean, but there were some spots of mold in the shower grout. The lounge chair in the room was useful but starting to show wear and tear in its structural stability. TV remote was not very responsive and was a bit of a nuisance since the tv turns on automatically everytime I returned to the room.

All the staff were super friendly and helpful- can’t fault them. Travelling as a single female, I felt safe, close to all the amenities such as the shops and BTS. Luckily, someone else had also written this in their review which was the deciding factor to book this hotel. The room was big and clean- the layout made it luxurious. Gym had sufficient equipment to do my workout; pool was clean but cold( I traveled in Dec during a cold spell in Bangkok). However, the staff were so accommodating and made the access to the onsen super easy to warm up. A very good selection of fresh fruits, pastries, yoghurts, hot and cold Thai and international food available. For me, it was delicious and offered sufficient healthy selection. However, my friend felt it was expensive (for Thai standards)as it didn’t offer enough variety eg add sour dough bread, more yoghurt flavours, etc. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this hotel and have rebooked for my next stay.

We first stayed at the hotel two years ago and came back on our return to Bangkok this year! The hotel is fantastic! Best I’ve stayed in! Staff can’t do more for you and very accommodating! From Concierge, to everyone on Reception and those in the Gym/Pool/Bar! Rooms cleaned daily and very comfortable! Will always be my option for hotel when I return back to Bangkok
