There were multiple items that insured we will never return. The first item was our treatment be the desk staff. NEVER have I been treated so poorly by the desk staff. I had multiple contacts with the staff that were, (RUDE). MY questions were repeatedly, either ignored of rebuffed. Something as simple as a request for my bill, (I was told I could not get it until the last day at checkout) was almost impossible to get. The facilities were in poor shape. From leaking pipes to dirty rooms. This should be unacceptable at any hotel. There are more items, but suffice to say, “don’t spend your money and stay here”.

Okay for the money.

Reception staff need training on how to welcome guests, no smile or welcome to our hotel! Room was okay, I only used it as a base. Excellent location for Kho san Road and other places of interest. Enjoyed the pool area in an afternoon.

Long walk to the Grand Palace

The hotel itself is great. It's close to Khao San rd. But it's about a 20 min walk to The Grand Palace and the other surrounding tourist locations. So if you don't mind walking or taking a tuk tuk every time, I'd recommend this location. There are unhoused people around the area but they never bothered me.

The room upgrade was appreciated. The room and bathroom are actually a good standard. Parking and attendant good and friendly. Giving the approximate to the major attractions, time of the year and low price, there must be a drawback. Indeed, the state of the hotel, the surroundings and especially the front desk staff are the issue. Most unfriendly and careless staff.

Pretty disappointed in the condition in and around the hotel a big homeless population surrounding the building, inconvenient unless you are going to the night market there isn’t much in walking distance, most of the staff are super sweet but some don’t give you the time of day.

The hotel is walking distance to khaosan road, markets, plenty of places to eat and shop, and the grand palace. Homeless people around the hotel but they don’t bother you. Hotel interior seems a little outdated, and the rooms were basic as expected but decent enough for a cheap stay. However the “beds” felt worse than a park bench, it literally hurt my body to move on it during the night and made my body sore. The hotel isn’t terrible but if I would’ve known that, I might’ve reconsidered.

Best hotel in Bangkok. Easily a 10/10. Great service, food, pool, and rooms. My room even had a relaxing tub which I really like. For only around 900 baht per night, you can't beat it. We were steps away from The Queen's birthday celebration party, so it was very nice to be close for once to all the action in Bangkok. Also, Khao San Road is 5 minutes walk, so there's your nightlife option. I felt very at ease and relaxed at this hotel, so I had to book for a second night to enjoy it further. So this is the second part of my booking, as I rebooked another night. Also, to help me do so, the Front Desk staff was very helpful.

Amazing hotel. Great staff, service, pool & food. Also perfect location. This is my new hotel of choice in Bangkok. Highly recommend it...I love my room, especially the sunken tub. Very relaxing.

An ok place to stay, but very old. Rooms--even "deluxe"--are small and outdated. Uncomfortable bed (not sure whether I was even on a mattress of just a box spring) and old, poor-quality showers. Staff was great.

The price and location couldn't be better. Walking distance to everything in Bangkok, and taxis abound out front for anything further. Morning breakfast is awesome. Pool is nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. Shops inside hotel, and good amenities all around. It's obvious this hotel has seen better days, and is showing some signs of wear and tear. Directly outside is a mass of homeless people who use the exterior wall of the hotel as a urinal at all hours of the day. They aren't violent, scary or threatening, however. And probably little the hotel can do about it.
