We stayed here as a family (2 adults, 2 kids aged 8 and 10) from 26 to 29 January 2024. Check in was easy and quick. Initially booked a Superior Room, 2 Twin Beds but was given the choice to upgrade (additional 1200 baht for 3 nights) to a bigger room with a queen bed and two lounge chairs which we accepted after being shown the room. The two lounge seats were promptly made up with linen/sheets and my children said they were comfortable to sleep on. The Queen bed though, was a bit hard and the pillows weren't as comfortable unfortunately. There were two TVs in the bedroom with one remote, which we had issues with. We let reception know and they seemed to fix it but there was still a bit of a lag between pressing buttons and the tv responding. The shower leaked on the floor during use but it seemed to dry up well the following morning. There was a distinct lack of hooks to hang up used towels. The location is fantastic as it's in the shopping centre precinct/CBD. Even though it's lively on weekends, the noise did not bother us in the evening and we were able to sleep ok. We did not opt for buffet breakfast at 490 baht pp so cannot comment on the quality of food. The only places we could find open in the morning for breakfast was 7-Eleven which was a 2 minute walk or a Macca's at Siam Paragon. The pool looked tired and in need of refurbishment. My kids did not want to swim there as it was too cold. Overall I would stay here again for the location.

Room wasn't ready until 4pm (despite the 2pm checkin). We had to hang around with our baby until was ready. Checkin process is painful and slow. Lacks any form of customer service. Room keys presented in an envelope with hand written number on it if you ask. Limited options to make deposit, had to resort to cash. Despite all this the Concierge was polite and helpful. Room is worn and tired, bathroom wasn't as clean as you would expect. Will never stay here again. Buyer beware.

I have stayed in this hotel several times and was quite satisfied and so, booked a Superior Room in this hotel for 6 nights on my latest BKK visit. Upon arrival I was led to a room that was in really bad condition and where the Air-conditioning was very cold and I could not make it warmer. As an SHA guest, I felt like I was dumped here to stay for just a day and expected to move to another hotel. I later questioned the quality of the room and was told I had been upgraded to a DELUXE room. The quality was horrible! I asked to see a room of the type I originally ordered and it was many times better. I ended up moving to the Superior room. It was quite comfortable - except the TV was very small. There was no guest information in the room. Nothing. I was never told the mini bar had been removed or what services I could use, such as Laundry etc. Front office staff were fantastic. Housekeeping staff were just as good. Check-in and out was easy. The TV channels were really of poor quality. Where was BBC World or CNN? The picture quality was very poor and the one movie channel had a screen presentation that was squeezed. Some serious improvements need to be made to this once great hotel. I would never recommend the Deluxe rooms to anyone. It seriously looked like a really cheap hotel room. Not of the Novotel standard I have had in the past - Particularly at the Novotel Siam Square. One more thing: I ordered some food and it turned up in 2 plastic bags! Not eco-friendly at all!
