This hotel was perfect for our family (kids aged 3 and 8) as it was well connected to the BTS and shopping centres. The breakfast was actually fantastic and their dinner buffet was great too. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative was that the hotel is showing its age and can do with a bit of a refresh. Howver, we will definitely not hesitate to stay here again on our next trip.

I’ve stayed at this many times because of the location- near to BTS. eateries and malls. For my stay this time, staff was polite, attentive and helpful. However, as a regular guest to this establishment, i am a bit disappointed- I told the guests relations services prior to my visit, I’ll be checking in on my birthday - when I got to the hotel, there were no birthday greetings or a card whatsoever. I normally travel on my birthday and stayed in other hotels establishments where I got a small cakes, birthday cards, room decorated with balloons and birthday signages..I also requested for a room on the high floor- the receptionist told me the upper floors has some renovation going on so they upgraded me and had to put me on the 7th floor. When I got to the room it was just a “standard” room. I was a regular guest to this hotel, of course I know the difference! The hotel was indeed upgrading.. but still signs of wear and tear was obvious throughout the hotel and room. Food at breakfast had good selection. Overall I’d still recommend this hotel.

We have stayed at Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square in our last 3 trips to Bangkok and we love its location. The hotel is however getting super old, the sockets barely hold a plug, in fact the TV wouldn’t turn on because the socket it was on suddenly became busted. The breakfast buffet also has not changed. Bacon still is paper thin and tastes. The noodles station is still great but the hotel really needs to update the menu. Rooms is getting very old, paint on the bathroom walls were cracked and bathroom door does not close properly anymore. Hotel appears full and well patronized but it appears that owners are not investing in the upkeep of the hotel. Sad. We are rethinking about booking at the hotel again.

hotel was ok, but in dirty area near train station surrounded by rusted out dirty buildings. Looking out you see garbage and broken down buildings. The hotel itself was ok, but the exterior windows were dirty obscuring the view of the nearby broken down buildings. Limited english was spoken as most guests were locals. Couldn't get accurate directions. Near malls and such for shopping although who needs all that Gucci crap you can buy in any big city
