the hotel was very good. breakfast was delicious and had a lot of variety. staff were very friendly and hospitable. there was always complimentary drinks, noodles and water. promixity was near sime shopping malls. only feedback is some towels had stains on them but otherwise, the experience is quite good

Sam yan is nicely situated with walkable streets, modern mall, and train station nearby. The hotel room bed was soft and lumpy as if old and worn. I did not understand why I was asked to wait at checkout for them to check the room? And what was the vip amenity?
