The Lancaster Bangkok is a beautiful property. It is well-appointed. It is a luxury property, but it is not snobbish. Staff are wonderful.

The hotel is beautiful with spacious, clean rooms, and kind, courteous, professional staff! Our fee included breakfast and it was amazing! The location was further from the central tourist area but quite close to the metro station which made getting around town quite easy. We loved our stay and would definitely book it again!

The good and bad

Nice hotel with rooftop pool and gym. Quality overall service opening doors and greeting you. 2000 baht per day deposit a bit high, and food good but expect to pay double. Likely for all higher end hotels. I did have an excellent fish dish though for room service. Also gym well equipped. Cons: I ordered chicken wraps from rooftop and said no lettuce 3 times which was written down. Yet they brought with lettuce. Maybe language barrier but I was told they understood. On second night a roach was crawling in my room. Anyway maybe came from vents but I got rid of it and didn’t have anymore. Tv had 1 news English Channel and that’s it for English. Location is ok but about 10 minutes grab from any decent malls. Room was cleaned good overall and they gave toothbrushes and some other extras.
