I wasn't expecting much from this hotel and it definitely exceeded expectations. Our room, rather than being cramped and dark as I'd feared, was spacious and light and had everything we needed including a fridge and hairdryer. The location right on the river is excellent. We enjoyed swimming in the pool every day and sitting by the river with a drink in the evenings. It felt like a nice piece of calm in a crazy busy city. I would stay here again on a visit to Bangkok.

Good location. Food options locally, across the river from central Bangkok but reached very easy with the ferry or other transport, easy walk across the busy bridge. Staff very helpful and polite. Occasional smell of drains in reception. Not enough sun lounges or too many people reserving them with towels for whole day while doing something else .
